Thee American Jubilee is a celebration of America’s greatest, most world-changing export: its music.
Performances from 4:00 ‘til 10:00pm
We've sought out great artists from all our American musical traditions: blues, jazz, country, bluegrass, hip-hop, and of course, rock ‘n’ roll. The Jubilee showcases new and traditional takes on these forms, and raises a glass of great beer to America as well.

This year’s Jubilee is the first of what will be an annual occurrence, with expanded rosters and wider, deeper reaches into America’s rich musical history yet to come.

David Serby & the Latest Scam
4:00 - 5:00pm
Whether singing over a country or a rock beat, Serby always vocalizes with a smooth, inviting voice that makes whatever style he's inhabiting at the moment sound in character. At 20 songs long and filled with so much great storytelling, Serby's Latest Scam is the absolute opposite of a rip-off, so don't misjudge this book by its cover.
Serby says bands like Rockpile had a big impact on the style of these songs, and you can certainly hear that band's bar band vibe running through a track like "Gospel Truth" with its rumbling electric guitar and cheeky lyrics.

Grant Langston & The Supermodels
5:15 - 6:15pm
With one foot in the deep country music traditions of North Alabama and another in the telecaster twang of California roots and Americana, Grant Langston is an artist that defies the typical toe tag of modern music.
Born the textile town of Gadsden, AL Grant was raised singing and playing in the church. He spent his adolescence playing bass for the King James Version gospel quartet, and helped pay his way through Auburn University touring the dive bars of Alabama and Georgia with a rock band.

Tom Freund
6:30 - 7:30pm
It’s the ease with which he delivers conversational lyrics and honeyed melodies, a natural magic that is the soul of Tom Freund’s music. Though he’s widely-traveled in a variety of genres– from hearftelt folk to buoyant pop to boho jazz to straightforward rock ’n’ roll, and beyond –Freund is, simply put, a singer-songwriter with a defined and captivating presence.

Preston Smith & The Crocodiles
7:45 - 8:45pm
How does one categorize an artist, who over his career has sung for Barbara Streisand's wedding, performed at countless functions for people such as Steven Spielberg, Bruce Willis, Aaron Spelling, Brad Grey, the cast of “The Sopranos” and the late Sonny Bono? He’s played harmonica and scat rapped alongside Salt n’ Pepa on Quincy Jones’ TV show “Vibe,” and has had the likes of Bonnie Raitt, the late Eddie Van Halen and Jerry Lee Lewis, among countless others, join him onstage for impromptu jam sessions.

The Stage Return of
Farmer Tan

In 1995, songwriter Johny Huber enlisted the aid of friends Brian Hall on guitar, John Sleeger on bass and Rick “The Drummer” Campos to record the six-song cassette “Four Cup Day, Six Pack Night” at Bakersfield legend Lawton Jiles’ recording studio on Route 66 in Upland, California. A hearty endorsement from Southern California country roots emeritus Rick Shea got Farmer Tan booked at Ronnie Mack’s Barndance, and before long, the band was regularly sharing the stage with iconic Americana and roots artists including Dave Alvin, Rick Shea, Chris Gaffney, Lucinda Williams, Dale Watson, Jesse Dayton, and the Derailers.
For their first live performances in 13 years, Farmer Tan has put together a line-up of old friends and new faces. Joining them is longtime keyboardist Wyman Reese, and drummer Gootch Ibarra. Rounding out the line-up is vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Clarke Noone on mandolin/banjo/fiddle and guitar, and Marc Weller, on pedal steel.
