How do I join?
​Our mug club has an annual membership of $99 for the Platinum Level and $49 for the Gold Level! Only Platinum level SDS Mug Club will be limited to a number members, so you will need to act fast; the club is filling up quickly! To join, visit our SDS page here and select a membership option! Once registered, you will be eligible to start taking advantage of all the club perks on December 25, 2023!

Is it true, can I get my SDS mug filled with any Last Name beer I want?
We are proud of our large selection of beer at LNB and as a SDS member we want you to be able to enjoy the beer of your choice! However, some of our higher alcohol content beers and our rare, barrel-aged beers will not be available for the mug club 20oz pour. For those beers, an alternative serving size will be given!

Can I have my spouse join this fantastic mug club?
Yes, only for the Platinum Level! For just an additional 75 dollars, you can have your spouse also be part of SDS! However, we have limited memberships for spouses.

How long is my club membership?
The membership is good from the date of purchase to December 31, 2024

I love my new mug so much, can I take it home?
We understand the mug love - it is pretty cool - but the mugs do need to stay in the LNB tap room until your membership expires towards the end of the year for Platinum Level members. However, Gold Level memberships does not include taking home a mug at the end of the membership.

How do I get the Platinum Level SDS member discount on all the awesome LNB merch?
Just show the LNB staff your ID, they will verify your membership and you can get your discount on all our snazzy LNB swag!

How do I take advantage of the free table reservation on my birthday?
Now that you are part of the LNB family, we want to celebrate your special day with you! Send us an email ahead of time with the party specifics to events@lastnamebrewing.com! Let us know that you are part of the Platinum Level SDS Club and we will waive the registration fee! (reservations are subject to tap room availability)

No name on the mug this year?
This year we are trying something different, each Platinum Level mug will be numbered and when you join the mug club you will be assigned a number that is just yours! This will help streamline the process for our tap room staff. If you still want to have your very own name, nickname or cute phrase on your mug we are offering custom engraving for $20 per mug!

What happened to the growler club?
While the SDS Growler Club was a great way to connect with out customers in 2017, we have found that in 2019, people just aren't into buying another expensive 64oz container exclusive to one brewery. The heart of the Surname Drinking Society is building a sense of community and friendship right here in the Last Name Brewing tasting room, and we've found that it's easier to build that sense of community with our Mug Club members. We will still offer a similar growler fill card (with special pricing for SDS members!), but it will not include all of the perks of the Surname Drinking Society.

Rules and Restrictions of the SDS:
Memberships cannot be sold or transferred. ID is required to redeem mug perks. If mug is broken by staff, we will replace the mug free of charge, if the mug is broken by a SDS member there will be a replacement fee. We require both an email and a phone number to complete membership. No other beverage than LNB craft beer will be served in the SDS mug. Discounts and perks only apply to the SDS member. SDS mugs are only to be used by the member. Any misconduct will lead to loss of membership. ​You must be 21 or older to join the SDS.
