Frank Hanson , on guitars, and Steve Sturgis, on drums, have played together for over 20 years. Along with keyboard player Karl Carrasco and bassist Mark Oldham, they all provide the perfect backdrop for Stacey Rosen-Sturgis' beautiful vocals and acoustic guitar playing. Not wanting to put just another oldies band together, they mine gold nuggets from the 1960s to the present. You will hear songs you love and haven't heard in years because no one else plays them. Carole King, Sonny & Cher, the Mamas & the Papas, Stevie Nicks, Sarah Bareilles, Simon & Garfunkel, Paul Simon, It's a Beautiful Day, and Bonnie Raitt are just a sample of the artists from which Soulshine borrows songs.
