Cougar Estrada is from Camarillo, Calif., and was born into a musical family: The Estrada Brothers Band, which included his dad and uncles.
Cougar has toured with Spencer The Gardener, Rebbie Jackson, Latin Playboys, Raul Malo, Los Super Seven, Marc Ribot, Sisters Morales, Los Texmaniacs and a decade-long stint as touring and recording drummer for Los Lobos 2002-2012, playing live and on all their studio albums, live albums, DVD's and radio and television appearances, culminating in a performance at the White House for President Barack Obama.
