Based out of Upland California, Backstreet has been rocking Southern California for almost 5 decades. Yes, you read that correctly! Inspirational leader and guitar wizard Roman "Roach" Foronda who we sadly lost in January of 2022 founded the band when only a teenager. Talent and energy, coupled with the eternal quest to make sure everyone has fun, has kept the band relevant for years.

Their soulful interpretations of some of the greatest music ever written is infectious and has kept crowds coming back for more. It's afforded the band opportunities to play some of the area's largest stages and open for national touring acts.

Rounding out the rest of the band is longtime keyboardist extraordinaire Michael O'Connor. Michael joined Backstreet in 1984 and has been dazzling audiences ever since. His dedication and amazing talent has been the cornerstone of the Backstreet experience. Vocalist Debra Diurba joined the band along with bassist Ben Diurba several years ago. The husband and wife duo have helped bring a new vibe to the band.

Debra grew up singing in the Church. Her sultry voice and her ability to seemingly harmonize to anything has opened up the band to endless possibilities. Ben's love of music runs deep. So much so that early on, he had to ride his bike to gigs or be driven to and from by his mother! Drumming guru Steve Kuhn is a local legend having played and toured with multiple acts and taught students for years. His talent is immense and scientifically immeasurable.

The set list has been growing for years and is too large to list. From funk to soul, disco and rock-n-roll, Backstreet has a little something for everyone. Come on out, we'd love to meet you!
